At Actualise Learning, we love creating wellbeing and STEM related toolkits for schools!
A ‘toolkit’ ready to call upon when required is a fantastic initiative to support individual students in and out of school.
Our bespoke or ready to deliver wellbeing toolkits can provide valuable resources, activities, and strategies to help students develop resilience, cope with stress, and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Likewise, our STEM toolkits cover a wide range of topics in science, tech, engineering and maths.
It’s your choice whether you choose a bespoke route or subscribe to our tried and tested resources and lesson plans to build toolkits for your class or school.
Here is a selection of topics we incorporate into our wellbeing toolkits for creating wellbeing toolkits in schools across all year groups:
Actualise Learning can design scaffolding methodologies for students from nursery age to sixth form. By implementing scaffolding methodologies, teachers can improve the likeliness that students will grasp new materials and retain what they’ve learned.
In practice, often means providing differentiated materials to students with different learning styles. For some students, highly visual materials may be appropriate, while other students might be more highly tactile learners.
Scaffolding, breaks up even differentiated lessons so that they are delivered in increasingly complex chunks. It breaks up learning new topics into stages in which old ideas are connected to new ones and students are led from guided to independent instruction.
We also find combining STEM topics with Visual Arts is very beneficial to learners. Here are our favourites:
We work in partnership with teachers, students and parents in the creation and evaluation of our toolkits to ensure they meet the specific needs of the school community.
